Barnabas Ministries is proud to partner with Christlife Ministries to offer an Intensive Retreat. This weekend retreat is designed to help remove everything hindering you from fulfilling His great call on your life – to love Him with everything and to be a conduit of God’s love to the people around you.

The mission of Barnabas Ministries is to provide resources and encouragement for pastors and churches to be all that God wants them to be. There is a three-step process to fulfilling that mission and you can learn more about it here

Christlife Ministries, under the leadership of Greg Dempster, exists to strengthen Christ’s Church by coaching, restoring and awakening its leadership. The Christlife team is led by an ever-growing community of Christian leaders, many of whom have personally experienced the difficulties of local church ministry.

Ultimately depending on God and His word as primary sources of healing and transformation, Christlife’s desire is to equip leaders to confidently bring God’s healing and life to others.

When: January 17th – 19th, 2025 (arrive at 4:00 p.m. Friday January 17th, depart at 11:00 a.m. Sunday January 19th)
Who: Limited to six high-capacity pastors or parachurch leaders

I can remember the moment like it was yesterday. We were racing down a small gravel runway, our plane shaking, engine roaring…heading into the wilds of Alaska. Once airborne we turned and began to follow the Copper River deeper and deeper into the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. As we flew, something began to awaken me; this was bigger, wilder, more beautiful country than I had ever experienced and in many ways I saw God in it. Like C.S. Lewis once wrote: “the beauty that we see, the veil of endless beauty be.” the mountains, glaciers and rivers were just a glimmer… a shadow of the Almighty. And then it hit me…nature, in all its awe-inspiring glory, also revealed something about me; the beauty which surrounded us wasn’t God’s best work… He said I was.

That moment combined with thousands of others exposed a chasm between what I believed to be true about God and what I was experiencing daily. Why was I still using performance and approval as a means for determining my own value? Why were fear and unrest still issues in my life? Over the next 12 years, God’s healing and real answers to these and many other questions formed the beginnings of ChristLife Ministries. You have worked hard for many fruitful years and now sense the time has come for another to lead the church into its next season. Nothing would please you more than to see the church accomplish great things for God! One purposeful contribution in positioning the church for the future is to plan a smooth transition now. Doing so will ensure the investment you made in countless individuals is preserved and will help them to remain focused on fulfilling their mission. The cost of the retreat is $300 per couple.
